For myself, the thought of starting my very own business was exciting, yet quite daunting. I looked forward to the fact that I would be able to work my own hours, and not have to be subjected to an annoying boss. I was also pretty excited about meeting new clients and the overall challenge of what lay ahead.

I knew that If I continued with indecision that I would most likely be stuck in my cubicle at work for the next 30 years and that wasn’t exactly an entertaining thought. So in saying this, my reasons for starting my own freelancing business were easy – I wanted to enjoy the many benefits of what being self employed could provide.

Obviously personal reasons will vary, and that’s natural. Just be certain that for whatever reason you choose to start your own freelancing business that they are for the right reasons.
